In this mandatory two-part session, elementary principals and one designated social studies teacher per campus will explore how Civics Training Programs support informed American patriotism and the close study of the founding documents of the United States and Texas. Required under Senate Bill 3, this training strengthens the skills and knowledge Texas educators need to lead high-quality civics instruction. Participants will engage in two connected sessions- Part 1 followed by Part 2 the next day-designed to build expertise that carries directly into the classroom.
