Observe an experienced science teacher (Katrina Acevedo) facilitate an engaging lesson while focusing on key instructional moves that promote student thinking, academic discourse, language development, and meaningful use of HQIM. Participants will use a structured observation tool to identify evidence of effective planning, instructional delivery, student engagement, formative assessment, and purposeful implementation of district resources.
*Part A PreRequisite Following the observation, participants will engage in a facilitated debrief to analyze instructional decisions, discuss student evidence of learning, and connect observed practices to their own classrooms. Teachers will reflect on instructional strategies, ask questions, and identify actionable next steps for immediate implementation.
