Digital Science in Action: Maximizing PocketLab & Writable for Student Success
LIMITED
Thursday July 30, 2026 10:50am - 11:50am CDT
Limited Capacity seats available
Transform science instruction with PocketLab and Writable, two powerful digital tools that support inquiry, data collection, scientific writing, and formative assessment. Participants will learn how to use PocketLab as an interactive digital lab notebook where students record observations, analyze data, and collaborate with peers, while leveraging Writable to strengthen scientific communication through Claim, Evidence, and Reasoning (CER) writing. Teachers will explore classroom implementation strategies, progress-monitoring tools, and feedback features that promote student engagement, accountability, and deeper understanding of science concepts. Participants will leave with ready-to-use ideas for integrating both platforms into daily science instruction.
