Blended Learning Meets T-TESS: An Interactive Guide for K-12 Teachers on Aligning the Station Rotation Model with the T-TESS Evaluation Rubric
LIMITED
Thursday July 30, 2026 10:50am - 11:50am CDT
Limited Capacity seats available
Are you ready to transform your classroom rotation model from a teacher-led schedule into a self-driven student engine? Designed for K-12 educators, this professional development session untangles the roadmap to true student autonomy using the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) and the Blended Learning Grant Program frameworks.
In this interactive workshop, we will trace the complete instructional arc of a successful station rotation model across three distinct phases:
Phase 1: Establish the Baseline – Master the structural essentials by organizing physical learning zones, deploying clear visual agendas, and establishing rock-solid station routines aligned with High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM).
Phase 2: Target & Align – Elevate your practice by using real-time data dashboards to drive targeted small-group intervention, embed peer-to-peer troubleshooting, and shift student tracking from simple completion to standards mastery.
Phase 3: Student Ownership – Reach the ultimate student-centered destination where learners independently navigate personalized "Must Do/May Do" pathways, analyze their own data binders, and actively steer their own next steps.
Leave this session with concrete "coaching next moves," practical tracking routines, and actionable strategies to confidently elevate your T-TESS dimensions (including 2.3, 2.4, 2.5, and 3.1) from teacher-managed to student-owned. Turn the rotation wheel and watch your students take the driver's seat!

Get oriented and ready to go in Schoology! This session is designed for teachers who are new to Schoology or looking to strengthen their foundational skills in the platform. Participants will learn where to find Schoology and how to log in, then explore basic navigation across Courses, Groups, and Resources. Teachers will gain a clear understanding of the different types of courses available — including Rostered and Sandboxed courses — and discover the variety of groups they may encounter or create, such as the Curriculum Innovation Lab, campus or department groups, and self-created groups. The session wraps up with an overview of online resources, including LTI Digital Resources and how to access and utilize saved materials from courses. Whether you're logging in for the first time or just need a guided tour, this session will give you the confidence to navigate Schoology with ease. Laptop / Device Needed.
