Making Data-Driven Decisions Through Effective eSped Progress Monitoring

In this interactive session, special education teachers will explore how effective documentation and eSped progress monitoring practices support data-driven instructional decisions and ensure compliance with special education requirements. Teachers often face challenges in maintaining accurate documentation while using student performance data to adjust instruction and demonstrate progress toward IEP goals.


Special education teachers will engage in hands-on activities focused on behavior incident documentation, progress monitoring procedures, and analyzing student data within eSped. By the end of this session, teachers will be able to:
  • Analyze student progress monitoring data to make informed instructional and intervention decisions.
  • Use eSped tools and reports to accurately document and track progress toward IEP goals and objectives.
  • Implement effective behavior incident documentation practices that support data collection, compliance, and student success.
  • Evaluate student performance trends to determine the effectiveness of instructional strategies and interventions.
  • Apply best practices for maintaining timely, accurate, and compliant special education documentation.
