In this hands-on session, Pre-K educators will explore practical solutions to common behavior challenges found in early childhood classrooms. Participants will examine real classroom scenarios and learn how developmentally appropriate behavior supports can improve student outcomes while maintaining positive relationships with children and families.

Educators will engage in role-playing, collaborative problem-solving, and case study discussions designed to build confidence in responding to challenging situations. By the end of this session, teachers will be able to:

• Identify the underlying causes of common Pre-K behavior challenges.
• Apply positive behavior support strategies to real classroom situations.
• Implement de-escalation techniques that maintain student dignity and safety.
• Use professional communication strategies when addressing parent concerns.
• Create action plans for responding to challenging classroom behaviors.

Educators will engage in discussions, classroom scenario analysis, and planning activities designed to strengthen classroom culture and maximize learning opportunities. By the end of this session, teachers will be able to:
