The MAGIC Starts with your PLC is designed to help Grades K-5 educators engage in M.A.G.I.C. (Mapping and Analyzing Grade-Level Instructional Connections) through purposeful collaboration and intentional planning. As the foundation of strong instruction, PLCs provide the space for teachers to internalize the essential components of Bluebonnet Learning—Fluency, Application, Concept Development, and Student Debrief—while deepening their understanding of the TEKS and the coherence of mathematics instruction. Participants will gain a better understanding of how voluntary benefits can complement their medical coverage and provide additional financial protection for themselves and their families. Representatives will review available plan offerings, discuss key enrollment considerations, and answer employee questions to support informed benefit elections during Open Enrollment.
New and veteran teachers need practical ways to move students beyond compliance and surface-level understanding into deeper thinking. Participants will analyze Productive Failure, apply optimal thinking practices, and design learning experiences using Universal Design for Learning.
