As we expand the use of district instructional slide decks, this interactive session will explore the purpose behind the slides and how they support strong Tier I instruction while keeping teachers at the center of learning. Participants will experience the slide decks as learners, explore the instructional strategies built into them, and practice using questioning, academic discourse, whiteboards, collaboration, and formative assessment to create engaging, student-centered lessons. By the end of the session, teachers will leave with practical ideas and a clear understanding of how the slide decks are designed to support effective instruction while preserving teacher voice and instructional decision-making.
