In this interactive session, general education and special education staff will explore how eSPED supports compliant documentation, efficient case management, and collaboration to meet the needs of students receiving special education services. As educators navigate increasingly complex special education processes, understanding how to effectively utilize eSPED is essential for ensuring timely access to information and high-quality student support.

Participants will engage in guided demonstrations and hands-on activities designed to build confidence in navigating eSPED, requesting system access, locating student information, and utilizing key features that support instructional and compliance responsibilities. By the end of this session, teachers will be able to:
  • Request and verify appropriate access to eSPED based on their professional role and responsibilities.
  • Navigate the eSPED platform to locate student records, IEP documents, and service information efficiently.
  • Identify key components of student special education documentation and their relevance to instructional planning.
  • Use eSPED tools to monitor accommodations, modifications, and service requirements.
  • Apply best practices for maintaining compliance and supporting collaboration between general education and special education staff.
