In this engaging session, Pre-K educators will explore how Frog Street supports high-quality, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned to the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines. Participants will learn how to maximize curriculum resources while creating engaging learning experiences that support language, literacy, mathematics, and social-emotional development.
Educators will participate in lesson demonstrations, instructional planning activities, and collaborative discussions focused on curriculum implementation. By the end of this session, teachers will be able to:
• Implement Frog Street lessons with fidelity while maintaining student engagement. • Utilize Frog Street components to support whole-group, small-group, and center-based instruction. • Design instructional experiences that extend learning beyond the curriculum materials. • Integrate oral language and vocabulary development throughout daily instruction. • Evaluate lesson effectiveness to ensure alignment with instructional goals and student needs.
