Instructional Excellence Institute - Spring ISD
Together in Culture, Together in Accountability
Monday July 27, 2026 2:00pm - 3:00pm CDT
Limited Capacity seats available
In this interactive session, SBS teachers  will explore how Structured Behavior Supports (SBS) and the Positive Approach to Student Success (PASS) framework create learning environments that promote student engagement, positive behavior, and academic success. As educators face increasing behavioral and social-emotional challenges in the classroom, implementing proactive and consistent support systems is essential to fostering a culture where all students can thrive.

Educators will engage in collaborative discussions, real-world application activities, and strategy planning designed to strengthen behavior support practices across classroom and campus settings. By the end of this session, teachers will be able to:
  • Identify the core components of the PASS framework and their connection to positive student outcomes.
  • Implement proactive behavior support strategies that promote engagement, self-regulation, and academic success.
  • Analyze student behavior patterns and environmental factors to determine appropriate interventions and supports.
  • Design classroom systems and routines that reinforce positive behavior expectations and foster a supportive learning culture.
  • Integrate SBS and PASS practices into daily instruction to improve student participation, relationships, and overall school climate.
