In this interactive session, Pre-K educators will explore how developmentally appropriate classroom management practices support student success, engagement, and school readiness. Participants will examine classroom systems, routines, and relationship-building strategies that create safe, structured, and responsive learning environments where young children can thrive.
Educators will engage in discussions, classroom scenario analysis, and planning activities designed to strengthen classroom culture and maximize learning opportunities. By the end of this session, teachers will be able to:
• Implement developmentally appropriate classroom management strategies that promote positive student behavior. • Design classroom routines and procedures that foster independence and engagement. • Create supportive learning environments that encourage social-emotional development. • Apply proactive strategies to prevent and address common Pre-K behavior challenges. • Evaluate classroom practices to ensure they align with developmentally appropriate expectations.
